This was in the comments to my original data post, but it sounds interesting and I did not want it to get lost.  Does anyone have information on the “Aethenaeum Project” or “SkyNex?”

P.S.  This was great decryption work by Hammer-BS!  He not only found this DSS but was able to solve the decryption puzzle as well.

It appears that stellar flaro activity caused the disruption of the Aethenaeum datacores, but automatic backup-and-restore routines seem to be working perfectly. What appeared to be a setback, has turned to be an excellent test of the recovery systems. It clearly illustrated that while the ___ advantages to placing things __ processor station in orbit, there are also dangerous ___ approach.

Now we have to quickly improve both the physical as well as the electromagnetic shielding in time for the ceremonies planned for the official boot-up of the system ___ opening of the freenet.

On a different topic, the SkyNex defending system nodes have begun to be moved into place. Unfortunately there is still significant code debugging required. On virtual testing, five authoriz_ _lian ships on a docking trajectory with __ Aethenaeum were targeted and destroy a __ Aethenaeum structure itself was damaged by deadly fire from the SkyNex turret …

I’m beginning to feel rather claustrophobic cooped-up in this little station, but at least I’m making headway with my huge work backlog.

There was quite a lot of decent, recoverable data in this one.  This was from a PC-DSS 3 in Superior condition, recovered by Hammer-BS in Outer Roh Cloud.  I hope someone is able to decrypt it without too much trouble.

Run 1 completed

attending pilots Anakin ( 7 dss) , Scraper (2 dss ) , Gusty ( 2 dss ) and Clanlord ( 0 dss , Anakin “borrowed” my dss magnet )

recovered : 30 wrecks including 11 dss

5x dss poor ,2x dss normal,3x dss rare,1x dss rare

in addition various other wrecks were found

Swarm cover provided by FFK_Masssa  thank you for dispatching the amanath swarm.

eventfull note : halfway in the run a single jellyfish conflux decided to take a peak , it was dispatched in an efficient way .

Run 2 completed (sort of )

attending pilots Scraper (1 dss ) , Gusty ( 2 dss ) and Clanlord (1 dss)

recovered :11 wrecks including 4 dss

in addition various other wrecks were found

UC5,EE1,SE1,CB2,SB1,CS3,UC8

Swarm cover provided by FFK_Masssa

Run was cut short due of arrival of pirates ( squads thetruechurch and nny…pui ) dumping flux in search sector

Run 3 completed ( again sort of )

attending pilots Drevent (1 dss), Hifly5 (4 dss), -Dean- (1 dss), Gusty (2 dss), Anakin (3 dss),  Scraper (1 dss) and Clanlord (3 dss)

recovered: 28 wrecks including 15 dss

in addition various other wrecks were found

UC1,SE2,PB1,EE1,SE3,CM4,CB2,UC2,WE2,UC2,UC11,PCP-1,CB1

Woofe and PS-Yamato were gaurding aman hook to provide swarm cover and early warning for incoming pilots providing  us the extra time to get to safety.

Even with the pirate incursions the main objective was achieved.

i will collect the last few dss from the couple of pilots that where unable to get them to me on the night later in the week and transport them to a safe location.once all dss are gathered in one location i will contact Jalil Aq ‘tamm for examination and possible decoding.

It was a pleasure and honour to do this with all of you fine pilots, and trust me it wont be the last time.

Regards Clanlord

OC: i planned to file this report yesterday but my sofa is so bloody comfortable i fell asleep and woke up at 645 am by my boss calling me where i was 🙂

116.2.1 -=DSRG=- HQ Vorgus2

A little while ago i had a conversation with professor A.ShaiDen conserning the recent discoveries made in regards to amanath .(see tri news reports from dates 116.1.8 and 116.1.15)

since then all news regarding these discoveries have stopped from TRI resources so i believe it a good idea to get things moving again via the way of a non TRI organized event.

professor ShaiDen showed a real interest in what might be found in the canis sector and it peaked my own personal interest.

so i hereby ask pilots to join me in an effort to find out more by doing a couple of artifact prospecting runs in that sector this sunday 116.2.7

I will plan 3 runs at various times so that all pilots are able to attend at one point or the other.

pilots are to arrive ready and equipped for artifact acquisition ( insight -displacer-rotacol equipped ) and please leave the rangers at home since it is a high flux sector and antiflux capable ships will be more productive there and we are not all great fluxers 🙂

so use HM or tows instead , similar speed and plenty of cargo capacity

All DSS found will be turned in to Professor A.ShaiDen for examination (they will be stored at a DSRG facility until pick-up arrangements can be made)

staging area Fort McGee in the Gyre sector

run 1

assembly at staging area at 0830 TRi  logging pilots and assigning point will take approx 15 minutes departure to canis 0845   arrival in sector and start of run 0900 tri untill 1100 tri return to FortMcGee

run 2

assembly at staging area at 1330 TRi  logging pilots and assigning point will take approx 15 minutes departure to canis 1345   arrival in sector and start of run 1400 tri untill 1600 tri return to FortMcGee

run 3   * staging area changed to “TRIce-station-zebra” in canis sector*

assembly at staging area at 1900 TRi  logging pilots and assigning point will take approx 15 minutes start of run 1930 tri untill 2130 tri return to TRIce-station-zebra

i am hoping for an interesting day and loads of good finds of course anything else we pull out of the sector is finders keepers

P.S>  if the resident swarmbusters could keep the area clear of swarms for the day it would be greatly appreciated

P.P.S> pilots attending pls have the 50Kus patterns available and if possible JGRot up and running.
